Well everything has to start somewhere. I guess this is the best place to start this project of mine.
Photography, in my mind at least, is a method of telling a story without using any words. The visuals of photographs are meant to be enough to convey meaning. Now, I'm fairly certain that that isn't the case when it comes to my photos but I'm planning on working on it. That's what this is the beginning of.
Likely Falsehoods is my attempt at teaching myself how to tell visual stories through experimentation. The plan is that I'm going to get some storytelling shots and then ask unbiased parties the story that they can glean from the photos.
This is called Likely Falsehoods because I know that for the most party the stories that these people come up with will not be the story that I'm trying to capture. So to do justice to the original story of whoever I was capturing I will of course be telling the true story at the end of the falsehoods. I guess we'll see how this goes.
Onward we go!
